Like It Or Not
Humansby their very nature are
dependent
on other humans.
We pretend to be
independent
but what are we
without
the support of our
sisters and brothers?
How far can one person get
trying
to do everything alone?
The simplest and smallest
thing
can bring us to a halt.
There can never be peace of mind
unless
we can rely on our
comrades.
What we can't do
they can.
We can rest easy knowing
they will.
And yet
sometimes
we have no choice
but to embrace the void
lest
isolation consume us.
